Collection: Moonmilk

A STORY OF RAW BEAUTY

Sparkling rays and misty nights. Stories of mystical remedies drawn from the depths of caves, and petrified moonlight shaped like clouds. I wanted to create a collection with contrasts. Which celebrates the raw and unprocessed in interaction with the neat and refined
The moon has always fascinated me and when I started sketching this collection the name "moonmilk" naturally came to me. But little did I know that the name and phenomenon exists already, and has actually been doing so for a while. The name  was originally coined by Swiss naturalist Conrad Gessner in 1555. "Moonmilk" his description on that mysterious and magical phenomenon that can appears in caves.
